Created in 2021, the Carbon Free Valais Foundation aims to lead Valais and Swiss companies towards zero-carbon objectives by 2050. To do this, it awards the "GO Carbon Free" label to companies or events concerned about their ecological impact, which commit to reducing their CO2 emissions and which invest in the foundation up to one contribution per tonne of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.

The label can be awarded to companies, events, products, services and processes. All funds raised are reinvested in concrete climate projects.
